My Approach

*Accepting new clients now

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you’re used to handling things on your own. I strive to offer a warm, personable approach built on genuine connection, where you can feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are.

As a counseling intern, I approach therapy as a collaborative process. I’m not here to tell you who you should be or what your path should look like. I’m here to walk alongside you as you explore what’s working, what isn’t, and what meaningful change could look like in your life. I take an integrative, client-centered approach, recognizing that each person’s experiences, needs, and goals are different. I tailor our work together based on what feels most helpful for you, whether that involves building coping skills, exploring patterns in thoughts and emotions, or working toward small, manageable steps that support change. In addition, I would incorporate psychoeducation to help you better understand what you’re experiencing, so you can feel more informed, confident, and in control of your own growth.

My background in caring for others has given me a deep respect for the challenges people face in their daily lives. This experience has shaped my ability to support others with patience, flexibility, and understanding across a wide range of needs and circumstances. I value the connection between the mind and body. Personally, I find grounding and balance through expressive arts, movement, and spending time outdoors.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of where to begin, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I would be honored to support you in that process.
